I strive to develop a relationship with my patients such that we can work together toward maintaining and improving their quality of life. We work together to prevent illness, manage existing disease and diagnose new problems using an open and respectful line of communication.
I understand that if my patient has a great blood pressure and well controlled diabetes, but they feel poorly, then we have to do more to get them to feel better. Feeling better can come from well treated physical discomfort and of course sensitive and caring management of emotional discomfort. I want to be a resource for my patients as they navigate the ever more complicated health care “system,” and I look forward to sharing in their successes.
