After finishing my education, I started my career in orthopedic surgery and developed a love for surgical care. Even before joining the field of medicine, I always had an interest in women’s health, so my shift to breast surgery has truly allowed me to combine two of my greatest passions. I pride myself in taking an individualized approach to care. My goal is that patients feel heard, informed and confident in their shared decision-making. I strive to create a supportive and respectful environment where patients feel safe to express their concerns. In clinic, I mostly focus on educating patients who are high-risk for breast cancer and managing benign breast diseases. I also assist the surgeons in the operating room, which allows me to collaborate with other teams and ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
I am originally from Minnesota but have lived in Colorado for several years now, and I enjoy all the outdoor activities this beautiful state has to offer. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, skiing, camping, and spending time with my husband and dog. I also have a passion for travel and love exploring new places and cultures.
