I joined the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in September of 2022 after having spent nine years on faculty at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Hospital. During my time at UAB I was promoted to Associate Professor and was Medical Director of the Digestive Health Center for six years. I oversaw both outpatient endoscopy and outpatient gastroenterology clinics which had a referral base from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi and Tennessee. I served on numerous committees for both the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and the Department of Medicine. I implemented many quality improvement projects for the UAB Digestive Health Center and help expand access throughout the state of Alabama. My hope is to provide the same leadership, dedication and commitment to the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
My clinical interests encompass all of general gastroenterology. I have developed a wealth of knowledge and experience in treating patients from all different backgrounds and varying degree of complexity.
