I believe that therapy is a great starting point to learn things about ourselves, our relationships, and our current and past circumstances. My goal as a therapist is to make my patients feel understood, accepted, and comfortable to share their experiences. I view myself as an open minded, understanding, kind hearted, and supportive person. Our work together will be in a space that is non-judgmental to foster trust, accountability, change, and growth. My therapeutic style includes a strengths-based and person-centered approach while incorporating methods of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Brief Interventions. I received my Masters of Social with a concentration in Integrated Behavioral Health from the University of Denver. Since working in the field of Social Work, I have primarily worked with patients with severe and persistent mental health as well as substance use. This includes individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, suicidality, and psychosis. I also have work significantly with crisis intervention, trauma, and family/relational conflict. My goal in an integrated care clinic is to ensure that you feel heard, understood, and cared for by your care team as a whole.
I am originally from Maryland and moved to Colorado for my masters program. I fell in love with the state of Colorado and decided to stick around post masters degree. I come from a large and loud Italian family. On my free time I love to spend time with my Bernese Mountain dog, orange Tabby cat, and my friends/family.
