My top priority is to provide patients with the superb surgical care and outcomes for a variety of general surgical conditions. I do this by getting to know my patients on a more personal level and learning how their problem is affecting their quality of life.

I believe in a physician-patient relationship based on mutual trust. This personalized approach allows me to discuss all available options to come up with the best possible treatment plan for everyone. I prefer to offer minimally invasive approaches when possible, in order to minimize the size of your incision and get you back to an active lifestyle as soon as possible.

Born and raised in Ohio, I took to working with my hands alongside my father in his cabinetry shop. As lovers of the great outdoors, my wife and I are thrilled to have moved to Colorado. We enjoy hiking and fishing, and we have two exceptional cats, Tim and Pi.

Clinical interest for patients

I have completed advanced fellowship training in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. This allows me to provide advanced operative solutions to my patients through very small incisions, thereby minimizing postoperative discomfort and speeding up recovery.

My primary surgical interests include advanced abdominal wall hernia repair from small to large and complex or recurrent hernias, as well as surgery for gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn) and other gastrointestinal surgery.
