I started my career as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in my hometown of Omaha, Nebraska in 2016. There I worked in a variety of settings, including early intervention, high school special education, acute care, and inpatient rehabilitation. I discovered my love for the medical side of speech-language pathology while working in acute care with adult survivors of stroke, traumatic brain injury, head and neck cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases. My husband and I moved to Fort Collins after getting married in the summer of 2017 and I have been continuing to live out my passion for helping others at UCHealth’s outpatient rehabilitation clinics. I have a particular clinical interest in dysphagia, voice disorders, augmentative and alternative communication, and aphasia.
