I strive to treat my patients as I would my family members. Each patient is unique and my goal is to help patients choose the right urologic care for them.

I am excited to join UCHealth after serving in the US Army for 17 years. We are looking forward to make Colorado Springs our permanent home. Prior to joining UCHealth, I served as the Chief of Surgery at Evans Army Community Hospital here in Colorado Springs. When not working, I enjoy spending my time with my husband and two children. We are most often out biking, skiing or exploring nature.

Clinical interest for patients

I enjoy providing the full spectrum of urology to my patients. I have a keen interest in hereditary kidney cancers and MRI guided prostate biopsies from my time at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) during residency. I also enjoy restoring quality of life to my patients through male reconstructive surgery. This interest began with taking care of our wounded soldiers at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and further developed during a humanitarian mission to Honduras. I know that urologic disease and injury can have tremendous impacts on my patients’ lives, and I strive to bring my experience and evidenced based medicine to give my patients the best possible outcomes.

I am excited to collaborate with medical and radiation oncology to bring clinical trials to our patients in Colorado Springs.
