I moved to Steamboat Springs with my family when I was 10 years old. After graduating from Steamboat Springs High School, I moved to Oklahoma for college to pursue nursing. After graduation, I landed in Colorado Springs, where I began my career as a labor and delivery nurse at one of the busiest high-risk maternity care hospitals in the state. For the past six years, I’ve been deeply immersed in labor and delivery and women’s health nursing. During this time, I worked closely with many Certified Nurse-Midwives who inspired me to expand my scope of practice through earning my Master’s degree in Nurse Midwifery from the University of Colorado. I am so excited to begin my career as a CNM in our community. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me scuba diving, traveling, and hanging out with my Boxer dog, Dottie. This summer, I’m tying the knot with my fiancé Alex in Puerto Vallarta – he’s also a Steamboat native!
