- Clinical interest for patients
-
I treat patients with movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, Atypical Parkinsonian disorders and other forms of Parkinsonism, Essential Tremor, Dystonia, Tics and Tourette Syndrome, Ataxia, Huntington’s disease and Restless Legs Syndrome. I perform programming for DBS for Parkinson’s disease, Essential Tremor and Dystonia. I see patients at the University of Colorado Hospital Anschutz Campus and at the Lowry Subspecialty Clinic.
- Research interest for patients
-
My research is focused on improving the way adults with neurologic disease make decisions about their care. My goal is to optimize decision-making and decisional outcomes by developing and implementing tools that allow patients to make informed, value-based decisions. My research also involves reducing gender disparities in Parkinson’s disease care and improving hospital care for people with Parkinson’s disease.
