Dr. DeWing, a breast surgeon in Colorado Springs, received her medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in general surgery at UC Davis Medical Center. Dr. DeWing was in private practice as a general surgeon for six years before entering the cardiothoracic surgery fellowship program at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics as well as a Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship at UCLA. She has been a breast cancer surgeon for more than 15 years and worked as a Clinical Instructor at the UCLA/Revlon Breast Center in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. DeWing moved to Colorado Springs in 2013 and is the Medical Director of the Breast Program for the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. She is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is the author of numerous publications and has presented nationally and internationally.
