Mike started working for UCHealth YVMC SportsMed in 2019. His areas of treatment interest include orthopedics, aquatic therapy, high school athletes, return to skiing/snowboarding, and geriatrics.
Mike has also been a nationally certified snow-sports instructor with the Professional Ski Instructors of America / American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA/AASI) since 2001. He has attained Snowboard Instructor level 2 certification, Alpine Skiing Instructor level 1 certification, Cross-Country Ski Instructor level 1 certification (including Classic & Skate), Children’s Specialist Instructor level 1 certification, and Freestyle Specialist Instructor level 1 certification. Mike also has experience with Adaptive Instruction with ski, snowboard, three-track, four-track, use of outriggers, sit ski’s (moni & bi-ski), SnoGo and ski bikes (Brenter and Lenz bike).
Mike’s hobbies include snowboarding, downhill & XC skiing, mountain biking, paddle boarding, kayaking, yoga & Pilates.
