With a career in medicine that began at the age of 18, I have dedicated my professional life to continuous growth, advanced clinical training, and compassionate patient care. My path in healthcare has been driven by a deep interest in emergency medicine and sports medicine/orthopedics, ultimately leading to the completion of my Nurse Practitioner degree in 2011.
Throughout my career, I have remained committed to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care. My philosophy is simple: patients come first. Every encounter is approached with the same level of attention, respect, and compassion that I would expect for myself or my own family members. I believe that no patient should ever feel like just another number—each interaction is an opportunity to listen, understand, and provide truly individualized care.
I prioritize building strong, collaborative relationships with my patients. By combining clinical expertise with empathy and open communication, I strive to ensure that patients feel heard, valued, and actively involved in their healthcare decisions. I believe that the best outcomes are achieved when care is a partnership between provider and patient.
In addition to my clinical practice, I have had the honor of serving in disaster medicine as a member of the Colorado Disaster Medical Assistance Team under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Over 15 years of service, I participated in emergency response efforts and supported communities during times of crisis. I retired from this role in 2024, carrying forward invaluable experience in high-acuity, high-pressure medical environments.
My goal in every setting—whether urgent care, telemedicine, or emergency response—is to deliver thoughtful, compassionate, and high-quality care that truly makes a difference in the lives of my patients.
Outside of medicine, I am happily married and enjoy staying active and connected to the outdoors. In my free time, you can often find me hiking, biking, or working out at the gym. I also love spending time with my two adorable Bernese Mountain Dogs, who keep life fun and full of adventure.
