My approach to patient care is to try, to the best of my ability, to meet the needs of each woman who is seen in the clinic. One of the most important aspects is to listen to each patient and address her needs and concerns. As well, not all patients who present with similar problems will desire the same treatments, so it is important to meet each woman at her level. Being thorough and taking note of all the details that surround her concerns is very important. The best part of my job is the connections I make with my patients. In addition to caring for their medical needs, I like to know who they are as a person. Helping to guide my patients as they move through the various stages of their life and helping women as they meet the various challenges that each decade brings to their female health, is also what I love about my job. It is these relationships that make me look forward to coming to work every day.
I am a Colorado native and grew up in Fort Collins. I stayed in Colorado for undergraduate and attended Colorado College. Like most Coloradoans, I love the outdoors. My hobbies include boating and waterskiing, archery, hiking, gardening, and some fly fishing. My husband, also a Colorado native, is also in health care and owns a physical therapy clinic in Thornton. My main focus is family time when I am not at work and keeping up with my kids’ activities. My children Include my son and daughter, Andrew and Kathleen, and two Brittany Spaniels, Tucker and Bandit.
