My love for obstetrics and gynecology is driven by my passion for caring for women throughout the many milestones of their lives; from adolescence to pregnancy and through menopause.

I strive to be a physician that is attentive, compassionate, empathetic and reliable. I enjoy spending time with patients to ensure they understand their options in order to reach a patient-centered decision. It is my hope for every patient to feel understood and cared for.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs, Stanley and Larkin. Originally from Michigan, we are loving the sunshine and the ability to do so many of our favorite activities. We enjoy everything Colorado has to offer; mountain biking, skiing, camping and hiking.

We love to watch football and hockey games, to the point of having football on as often as possible from September through February. Though we are Detroit Lions and Red Wings fans, we are making room to cheer on the Broncos and Avalanche this season!

Clinical interest for patients

Though I love every aspect of obstetrics and gynecology, I have taken particular interest in PCOS, endometriosis, prolapse, incontinence and preventive care related to gynecologic cancers. I have also taken special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic and vaginal surgeries.

Research interest for patients

I have always taken particular interest in the importance of nutrition and exercise especially in the care of women during the major phases of life, whether as adolescents, in pregnancy or postmenopausal. I have also always enjoyed looking at our hospital systems and how we can improve health care as a whole, in particularly when considering preventive care.
