It’s my goal to treat every patient like they are my only patient. I want to make sure that every patient is comfortable and confident with all aspects of their care as our team works to get them back to their active life as soon as possible.
UCHealth has the ability to not only provide world class healthcare but they provide that care close to where patients live. This level of access to quality care along with being able to live in beautiful Colorado made UCHealth an easy choice.
Why got in profession?
My mother is a physician and my father is a veterinarian, so from a young age I was interested in medicine. I attended the University of Wyoming where I received my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. During my time there I developed a big interest in anatomy and biomechanics. Following my undergraduate degree I stayed at the University of Wyoming and completed a Masters degree in Human Biomechanics focusing on gender differences in Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries. With this background I knew before I started Physician Assistant school that I was going to go into Orthopedics. Everyone is an athlete at their own level, and Orthopedics can help people get back to their healthy active lifestyle.
I was born and raised in Wyoming, and due to that most of my hobbies revolve around being outside. I love to spend time hiking, skiing, cycling, running, fly fishing, golfing and spending time with family and friends.
