It’s always important to me as a therapist and social worker to work to create a safe and nonjudgemental space for people to feel comfortable and to feel seen. I have worked with clients at various stages in life, from young children to older adults. I see the work that I do as a therapist as a collaborative one with clients. I hope to walk with people where they’re at, in order to help support their goals for healing and growth. I have a genuine desire to help people work through the challenges in life we often face, such as, life transitions, grief, trauma, disappointment, anger, betrayal, loss, depression, anxiety, a broken heart or simply a life that hasn’t turned out as expected. I am committed to working with clients as they heal, discover new perspectives and learn new ways of managing challenging emotions so that they can feel more equipped and empowered to live their best lives.

I am originally from the midwest but transferred to CSU (go Rams!) 28 years ago, so Colorado has always felt like home, even though I returned to Indiana for a period of time to attend graduate school. My family also made the move to Colorado from Indiana years ago so it really is home now. The loves of my life are my dogs, Gemma and Sam, and my cat Dakota. When I’m not spending time with them, I love to exercise, to be outdoors hiking, biking, jogging or paddle boarding, spending time with friends and family, practicing my guitar, watching the next great tv show, or to trying new recipes to cook.
