In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and pursuing outdoor activities like alpine and backcountry skiing, backpacking, and fly fishing.

- Clinical interest for patients
My main clinical interest is the medical and endoscopic management of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), including Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis.
- Research interest for patients
My reserach activities are focused on investigating the causes and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). I am interested in the interaction between hypoxia (low oxygen levels) and gut inflammation as well as understanding the functional consequences of the genetic changes that are associated with IBD.
