I am a UCHealth Pre-Anesthesia Testing Nurse Practitioner, working in collaboration with Boulder Valley Anesthesiology at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital and UCHealth Broomfield Hospital. In our clinic, we provide preoperative screening and assessment services to promote patient safety and optimize care. My role includes reviewing medical histories, medications, preoperative evaluations, and diagnostic labs and testing, as well as collaborating with the anesthesiology team providing your care to ensure a safe, well-coordinated perioperative plan.
My clinical experience includes nine years of critical care nursing, followed by practice as a Hospital Medicine nurse practitioner.
I also have training and experience in ketamine therapy and evidence-based psychedelic medicine, with a strong interest in mental health, neuroscience, integration, and empowering others to live fuller, more balanced lives.
A traumatic, life-altering injury shifted my perspective and became an unexpected gift, teaching me firsthand the physical and emotional challenges patients face. That experience continues to shape how I show up in medicine—with empathy, presence, and a deep respect for human connection.
I truly value time outside of work with my loving partner, our two awesome kids, and our five sweet dogs. We love traveling, exploring the mountains, and chasing fresh air and new adventures whenever we can.
