A CU Medicine provider.
I love capturing Colorado’s spectacular rugged mountains, waterfalls & forests on lens when hiking in our beautiful state with its diverse terrain. I travel often to the equally magical Pacific Northwest & British Columbia & enjoy hiking the mountain and sea trails & photographing their majestic foggy peaks & enchanting coastal vistas.

My mission is to improve outcomes in older adults undergoing organ transplantation, through a better understanding of the interplay between infectious diseases and geriatric syndromes. My research interests lie in investigating the relationship of chronic viral infections and viral immune reconstitution with novel outcomes of aging in solid organ transplant recipients. I'm a current recipient of the National Institute of Health K23 Award, which investigates the relationship of CMV infection & CMV immune reconstitution with metrics of aging in older kidney transplant recipients.
