I firmly believe that modern medicine can be a very powerful tool when utilized correctly and is evidenced-based in all aspects. I tend to treat my patients in the same manner that I would a family member and believe that the doctor-patient relationship must be open, honest and mutually respectful. As an anesthesiologist, I uphold patient safety as the pinnacle of my approach to patient care, much as I will in sleep medicine. I look forward to helping people understand the importance of quality sleep and helping them find a way to obtain it.
Being a Colorado native, it quickly became paramount to return home to be close to my family after fellowship. My wife, teenage son and yellow lab occupy most of my time away from medicine. Together, we enjoy camping, mountain biking, thoroughbred horseracing, attending & watching sporting events, and attending concerts & festivals. If I’m lucky, I’ll spend any remaining free time knee-deep in a stream hoping to entice a gullible trout with a dry fly.
