I enjoy partnering with families as they navigate the joys and challenges of parenthood. I believe in engaging parents and caregivers, along with their children at age appropriate levels, in formulating treatment plans that are realistic and “doable”. I have special interests in preventative care and pediatric behavioral health.
I was born and raised in New York and attended medical school at The Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. I moved to Colorado in 1989 for my pediatric internship and residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colo. After my residency, I served as a general pediatrician in the Army, caring for US dependent military children at Ireland Army Community Hospital in Kentucky and Evans Army Community Hospital in Colorado Springs. I separated from the military in 1996, and my husband and I decided to put down roots in Colorado Springs and raised our two daughters here. I have worked as a general pediatrician in Colorado Springs since 1996.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, camping, running, travel and for quiet relaxation, knitting and reading. Please feel free to call me Dr. Lori or Dr. W!
