I believe in providing outstanding service and education by treating each patient as the first patient. It is important to treat each and every patient uniquely; not every injury is the same. This helps achieve optimal return to a functioning lifestyle and prevention of further injuries, whether treatment is surgical or non-surgical. Success is a satisfied patient. People are my passion, and I am honored to serve the community and provide the best care that they deserve.
I grew to appreciate the care and service of UCHealth hospitals after working with a large orthopedic group for several years. The culture of UCHealth is focused on quality of care and good patient experiences.
My childhood years were in rural Kansas. After spending several years as a health care corpsman in the Navy, I decided to make health care my career and became a nurse, working in sports medicine and surgery. I loved seeing the results of orthopedic medicine and providing care to patients of all ages. This lead me to pursue a master’s degree and became a nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedic trauma with a large orthopedic group in Wichita. I have now been working in orthopedics for 18 years.
My husband and I enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping, walking, reading and spending time with our children and extended family, along with Bigsby, our Whoodle. (Wheaten Terrier Poodle mix). We moved to northern Colorado in 2015 after becoming empty nesters. We chose Colorado for the quality of life and outdoor activities. We have four adult children.
