I approach every family as if they are part of my own. I treat patients and parents how I would want to be treated and how I would want my children treated. I absolutely love being a pediatrician. I have been in private practice for over 15 years and it is truly my passion. I love my patients and families and still keep in touch with patients that are now in the adult world. My goal is to help prepare every child and family for all the toil and turmoil and celebrations and accomplishments they will face as they get older. I have lived all over the united States and even overseas, so I am intimately aware of how hard change can be as a child and even an adult. I strive to ONLY practice evidence-based medication and have been part of a CDC study to help prevent antibiotic resistance. I will not overprescribe any medications and will follow all recommended guidelines for children. I also will always make my patient my priority and help them in anyway possible when it is needed. I am a happy, positive person and try to always see the upside in the world and your children. I pride myself on being open-minded and as least judgmental as possible, appreciating the opportunity to learn new things from my patients and families as I believe we are always growing and learning. I am not afraid to admit when I do not know something, but I will do any and all research I can to figure out the answer as being a great pediatrician not only my passion but my lifelong goal.

I am from the Southeast originally and have lived in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, California, Colorado and Australia. I am married and have two boys. I love the outdoors and one of my favorite adventures is finding new hot springs to explore with my family. I am also an avid paddle boarder, skier and love to hike. I love animals and have had a bird, fish, rabbits, a turtle, frogs, gerbils, cats and dogs as pets throughout my life. I love to travel and try new foods and experience new cultures. My favorite foods include Ethiopian, Japanese, Mediterranean (my absolute favorite) and fresh seafood. I would much rather have appetizers and desserts versus the main meal. I love cruise ships and have been on five cruises to-date.
