Dr. Kissell is board certified in general and vascular surgery. She has practiced vascular surgery in Colorado Springs for more than 12 years after completing her general surgery residency and fellowships at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. In addition to a vascular surgery fellowship, Dr. Kissell also did a formal interventional radiology fellowship, which gives her a unique perspective and additional skills to apply to her practice. She has expertise and experience in diagnosing and treating common, complex and rare vascular diseases. She provides medical management of vascular disease in addition to performing both open and endovascular surgery. She also specializes in wound care and sees patients at the UCHealth Wound Care Clinic – Colorado Springs.
