I have a strong passion for creating connections with patients—whether long term in the pulmonary clinic to brief life-changing connections in the intensive care unit.
I feel connection created through communication, understanding and empathy are vital to create the best team to care for the health and life of a patient.
I have years of knowledge and experience that is well utilized to help understand and in turn educate patients and coworkers. Each patient and person is seen and treated as an individual who has specific needs and desires, and whose body and health respond differently to certain approaches and therapies.
I believe I can assist each person to work on their whole health to allow the body an opportunity to heal and improve. I am passionate about understanding each individual’s goals and understanding that they can vary wildly from extensive interventions and therapies to assuring comfort at home at the end of life.
I have two wonderful children as well as two fur babies and a supportive husband.
I’m an outdoor enthusiast who used to be a ski instructor and love anything from fly fishing to horseback riding, to sitting a reading in a hammock.
