My philosophy of care is to partner with patients to make a care plan that facilitates recovery to help them return to normal work and personal activity.

Prior to joining UCHealth in 2015, I completed a residencies in Preventive Medicine and Public Health at Loma Linda University and Occupational and Environmental Medicine at University of Colorado.

Why UCHealth?
When I was a resident physician at University of Colorado, I worked with the occupational medicine physicians and found them to exemplify the thoughtful, thorough and knowledgeable practice of occupational medicine I strived for. I felt that such a group would help me grow as a newly trained occupational medicine specialist.

Why did you get into this profession?
I was interested how injury and illness prevention is applied in the workplace. I enjoy learning about all the kinds of work people do and thinking about how that work fulfills needs, promotes happiness or otherwise contributes to society.
