Dr. Riley earned his medical degree from the University of Utah Medical Center and completed his general surgery residency at Keesler Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in thoracic surgery at Biloxi VA Medical Center. While on active duty in the Air Force, Dr. Riley deployed overseas, using his medical skill to field requests for help from front-line surgical clinics. Stateside, he has served as Thoracic Surgery Chief at Eglin Air Force Base, and Chief of Operational Medicine in Florida. The Air Force has recognized Dr. Riley with both the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Humanitarian Service Medal.
