I enjoy focusing on health promotion and incorporating a proactive rather than reactive approach to health and wellness. I like primary care because it considers the whole person rather than thinking of them in terms of individual and unrelated body systems. I strive to put emphasis on all aspects of health including physical, mental and spiritual, as all of these are impactful to a person’s overall well-being. While I don’t hesitate to use medication when necessary, I prefer a more natural approach when able. Along those lines, I like a root cause approach to problems rather than just masking symptoms. I appreciate complementary and alternative modalities as well. Family practice speaks to my heart because I like to form meaningful and trusting relationships and deliver care in a personal way to my patients and their families.
I have been practicing since 2018. I spent my entire 16-year nursing career at Memorial Hospital/UCHealth and am excited to be coming back as a primary care provider. My nursing background is almost all in emergency medicine, which gave me a diverse background for primary care.
I try to role model healthy behaviors for my patients and as such enjoy exercising and pursuing a healthy lifestyle. My husband and I have two wonderful adult children and an adorable black lab. We enjoy the Colorado outdoors, cooking, entertaining family and friends, and we are looking forward to more travel opportunities in the upcoming years.Locations
