Kayla Beckstead earned her BS in Exercise Physiology with minors in psychology and sport performance and is currently pursuing her Masters in Exercise Physiology at University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO. During her time at UNC, she interned at the Cancer Rehab Institute, completed the Level II Clinical Cancer Exercise Specialist Certification, and performed an independent study focused on exercise adherence and efficacy in cancer rehab. In May 2022, Kayla joined UCHealth, working as an exercise physiologist at The Wellness Place and leads the Cancer-Related Fatigue exercise program. Kayla has a passion for working with cancer patients and improving their lives using proven exercise programs. She lives in Fort Collins with her husband, and their cat and dog. Kayla is very active and enjoys ballroom dancing, horseback riding, running, swimming and hiking. She is also an excellent baker.
