I strive to treat my patients and their families with a holistic approach as my own family with compassion and kindness. I enjoy seeing my patients as newborns in the nursery and following them throughout all stages of their life in to their adolescence and all the acute and well care visits in between.
Why did you choose UCHealth
UCHealth has given me an amazing opportunity to work with an established and successful pediatric practice that values the ability to provide the highest level of care for their patients and families.
Why did you get into the profession?
I’ve wanted to be a pediatrician since I was in the 7th grade because I loved to work with children — whether it was teaching swim lessons as a lifeguard or babysitting — and I enjoyed science. I was a candy striper from 7th grade until I graduated high school and knew then that I had to be in health care, so being a pediatrician became my goal.
More information about me
I’ve recently married and love to spend time with my family and friends, especially while watching an Alabama football game! I enjoy running, skiing and kickboxing. I have had the opportunity to work as part of medical mission trips to Dominican Republic, Haiti and Africa.
