I practice from a patient-centered care approach. An individuals, specific health needs and desired outcomes are a driving force for the plan of care and treatment approach when making decisions about care – all while following the health care systems mission, vision, and values. I think that collaboration with other providers is very important in the care of patients to ensure the most beneficial treatment and optimal outcomes, as well as the input of patients and families as part of the care team.
I am an Arkansas native who has recently moved to Colorado with my husband of 17 years and my 13 year old son. I earned three degrees from the University of Arkansas. My nursing career began in 2002 as an LPN, and I have enjoyed the entirety of my nursing career in the ICU setting and then in cardiac surgery for the last 16 years. I have two French Bulldogs, and I love to enjoy the outdoors.
