As a mom, daughter, and patient myself, I know how difficult and overwhelming it can be to navigate the health care system. As a provider, I strive to deliver high-quality, compassionate care that treats the whole person with a focus on preventive medicine.
My goal is to apply my medical knowledge and experience to treat, educate, and advocate for my patients’ needs to the best of my ability and determine the underlying disease process. I welcome my patients to ask questions and be proactive in their own care as we build a relationship of trust.
Growing up in rural NM on my family’s cattle ranch, I witnessed firsthand the barriers to receiving high-quality health care that many patients face. This, along with having the opportunity to care for children in underserved communities on medical mission trips in Africa and Central America, led me to pursue a career in medicine.
I am passionate about setting up my patients for success and optimizing their health journeys through evidence-based medicine. I received my B.S. in agricultural biology from NMSU and later my MPAS from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2020. My husband and I moved to CO in 2020, where I have gained experience in the urgent care and internal medicine settings.
In my spare time, you can find me going on adventures with my husband and young son. We enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, playing sports, games, and taking full advantage of CO outdoors, especially by hiking and skiing.
