My philosophy of care is to make sure all patients have access to the care they need. Good communication and respect for patients has been my key to successful patient care.

I choose to work at UCHealth because of its academic ties and patient-centered medical system providing the best care in the region. I enjoy working in Urgent Care as it provides quick access for people, helping them prevent small problems from turning into big ones. Also, providing availability for people to have wellness checks is very rewarding to me. I have extensive experience working in Emergency Services, and I previously served as a member of the Disaster Medical Assistance Team that provided care in communities after disaster eliminated their infrastructure such as after hurricanes Rita and Katrina.

I am new to Colorado with my husband, young granddaughter and dogs. Beyond caring for patients, I enjoy hiking, jogging, reading, gardening and traveling.
