Kalena received her Bachelor’s Degrees in Neuroscience and Interdisciplinary Archaeology from the University of Southern California and earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University. Her graduate thesis research focused on evaluation & assessment of sports-related concussion. She has experience working across acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient/community-based rehabilitation settings. Kalena has a passion for working with neurological & cognitive rehabilitation populations, including brain injury, stroke, and behavioral & mental health. She is committed to providing the best care for her clients following evidence-based practice. She enjoys collaborating with each of her clients to identify personal goals & implement strategies to help them increase participation in meaningful occupations. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, backpacking, skiing, boxing, photography, pottery, and spending time with her husband, dog, and frog.
