As a certified physician assistant with a decade of experience in patient care-ranging from reconstructive plastic and hand surgery to emergency medicine-I believe that effective healthcare is built on a foundation of listening, empathy and personalized care.
Every patient cones with a unique story, concerns and goals. My approach begins with active listening, ensuring that each patient feels heard, respected and understood. I believe that empathy is critical to understanding the evolving needs of the patient throughout their clinical course. I have found that communication is key in caring for each patient and understanding their individual wants, needs and goals of their medical outcomes. Keeping the patients desires in mind, I approach each case with compassion and attention to detail.
Ultimately, healing is not just about procedures and treatments, but trust, advocacy and compassionate partnership in every step of the patients medical journey.
I was born in Boulder, CO but have not lived here since infancy. I always have found a way back for both winter sports and concerts at Red Rocks in the summers. I’m now fortunate to live here with my dog Luna. I enjoy the outdoors with hiking, rafting, snowboarding, yoga, reading, camping.
