My philosophy in caring for my patients centers around the fact that all my patients present with different circumstances and needs that I must be able to adapt to and accommodate. Just treating a patient’s medical problems is not enough; I need to be able to make treatment plans that take into account their resources and motivations.
Using this “whole picture” approach allows providers to provide better care for their patients and allows patients to have more say in their treatment. I am also passionate about educating my patients as well as their families. I do my best to explain my patients’ medical conditions and treatments to them and their families in simple, understandable terms.
