My ultimate goal is to provide outstanding and compassionate care to my patients, whether in the emergency or elective setting. I believe in patient-centered care and always encourage an open and honest discussion before we make decisions together. I have always felt that it was an incredible honor to be a surgeon.
I am originally from Cincinnati, OH, where I was born and raised. After high school, I served in the US Marine Corps for give years before ultimately finishing my undergraduate and medical studies in Cincinnati. In my previous practice, I worked at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, as well as the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. My wife and I have been married for 15 years and have two wonderful daughters. We love to spend our time in the great outdoors. We enjoy hiking, backpacking, camping, and cycling. We are very excited to be part of the Northern Colorado community.

In addition to the standard general surgical procedures, I also perform a variety of minimally invasive and robotic surgical procedures. My specific area of interest is hernia repair. I specialize in both straightforward and complex hernia repair and utilize the most up-to-date techniques to provide patients with excellent and durable results.
