My piano teacher always taught me that playing the right notes can only get you so far. To play truly beautiful music, one has to pour their soul into the keys. I’ve found that this not only applies to music but also to practicing as a physician assistant. Rather than simply do what is expected, I strive to go above and beyond that. Evidence-based medicine, shared decision-making, and patient-centered care are the guiding pillars of how I practice. Just as each song in music has its own story, each patient has a story that needs to be taken into account. I understand that each patient is different and has various needs based on their lifestyle and activity level. My goal is for all patients to leave each visit feeling respected, understood, and confident in the care they receive.

I grew up in Boise, Idaho and attended PA school in Omaha, Nebraska. In Omaha, I worked in orthopedic surgery for 2 years before moving to Denver to join my fiancé. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, trying new foods, crocheting, playing piano/guitar, and hiking with my dog.
