I try to keep things simple. Put the patient first and treat them how you would treat a family member. I have had several orthopedic surgeries in my younger life. I know how scary it is to sit in that chair and be told you need surgery. I try to communicate in a way the patient will understand what we are going to do and what to expect after. I always try to be honest and caring with every patient.

I just try to spend as much time as I can with my family. I have two sons in high school and a daughter attending UC Boulder. I also am taking advantage of all that Colorado has to offer.

Clinical interest for patients

My clinical interest is spine surgery. I completed a complex spine surgery fellowship at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Prior to my move to Colorado, my practice focused on complex spine cases to include degenerative scoliosis and revision surgeries in patients who had failed prior surgeries. I am happy to see all spine related cases and provide excellent, reliable care to patients in northern Colorado.
