My philosophy of care has been the same since I first began in medicine: I always strive to treat patients with dignity and respect, giving them the same quality of care that I would want for my children or myself. I believe that there should be open, easy communication between a provider and a patient. As a patient, you should feel listened to and placed at ease, like talking to a friend. As a provider, it is my responsibility to make sure that you know that I am here for you to discuss, listen to and guide your medical care. A provider should be approachable, not intimidating. No matter who you are, you deserve the full spectrum of medical treatment and expertise to address your health issues.
