I have been told that I’m a great listener and use this in combination with a patient’s history to determine the best “plan of action” moving forward. I like to call it a plan of action because I do value the patient’s input on their treatment and coming to the best possible next step.

I respect my patients as partners in maintaining their health. My patients can reach me by email, phone or video visit if they have questions but don’t need an in-person appointment. I work as a team with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate my patients’ care.

Electronic medical records help me to see the big picture of a patient’s health, so I can make good use of our time together and answer questions. My goal is to provide the most appropriate care for my patients, so they aren’t spending extra time or money to get the care they deserve.

I am a Colorado native and grew up in Westminster, Colorado. I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in integrative physiology and went to the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

I completed my residency training in Alamosa, Colorado, at the San Luis Valley Regional Medical Center and Valley Wide clinics before returning to the area.

I do my best to smile and laugh a lot! In my free time, I enjoy practicing Brazilian jiujitsu, cooking, writing and playing with our four dogs. I love Colorado and have no plans to leave anytime soon.
