I understand just how frustrating and complex our health care system can be. After nearly a decade in Emergency Departments, and now at UCHealth Urgent Care, my philosophy is simple: to provide the highest quality care, while understanding the barriers that patients face, whether it is financial, insurance, resources, speciality, or primary care availability, as well as the countless obstacles we all face juggling busy lives. I like to “meet the patient where they are at” and tailor my care to their specific needs and situations.
I grew up on the East Coast, but always had family in Colorado, and would frequently visit on childhood vacations to various National Parks in the American West. After graduating as an Integrative Physiology Major from CU, I began working in healthcare in a variety of positions in Juneau, Alaska, while continuing to explore mountains and wilderness. I attended OHSU in Portland, Oregon, for PA school, where I met my wife, a real life home grown Denver local. After years of practicing in Oregon and Alaska, we moved back to Denver, where we both have family and friends. When not working in emergency departments or urgent care clinics, I am usually off in the mountains with our two dogs.

My clinical interests lie in working in emergency departments and urgent care. I have a passion for high acuity patients, as well as patients with issues that need to be addressed promptly, that cannot wait for weeks to months for an outpatient appointment. I love to be able to help patients in their moment of need, and thrive in the sometimes stressful and chaotic environments that these clinical specialties can produce.
