As a trauma and acute care surgeon, my care philosophy is patient-centered. When a patient experiences a life-threatening illness or injury, it is important for their provider to be attentive, accessible, and empathetic as possible. My approach is to do just that, and work closely with patients and their families on a continuum of care that is both transparent and accurate. This way they can make the best informed decision about their care in a more personal oriented healthcare environment.
