After many years in medical practice, I remain humbled by the opportunity to care for patients. I’m in awe of the faith and trust that a patient and their family impart during their most vulnerable of times. I realize the magnitude of the physician-patient relationship and do not take this trust and its responsibility for granted.

As an anesthesiologist and pain management physician, I have the responsibility and pleasure of helping to alleviate pain and suffering. My philosophy is rooted in the understanding that pain is many things – it is physical, it is emotional, it is psychological, even cultural. Pain is also treatable! While our pain may share certain characteristics with others it remains a unique and intimate experience for each of us. Pain is a necessary part of the human condition, but when it becomes an impediment to function and our ability to enjoy life, it requires thoughtful, measured intervention.

My primary goal is to ensure my patients feel heard and understood. I believe that care should be patient-centered and compassionate. I want my patients to truly understand that they are not alone. They have a physician who cares about them and is a partner in their experience. By establishing an honest and trusting relationship, we will construct an agreeable, tailored plan of action. We will leverage the best of scientific evidence, medical technology, even a little humor, to help understand your unique condition and guide our treatment efforts.

I am a veteran of the United States Air Force whose service included a deployment to Afghanistan in 2011. I have have practiced anesthesiology in the Loveland, Ft. Collins and Greeley areas since 2014. I enjoy the many things that Colorado has to offer with my wife and three children.
