I aim to create an open environment that allows for patients to ask me questions as well as feel confident in my ability to care for their needs. I feel that knowledge is power, so education is a part of my treatment. When patients understand what is occurring and what the plan is it allows for a unification of their treatment plan. I believe that educated patients are empowered patients as this also allows them to continue the treatment plan of their medical conditions outside the hospital setting.
