As a nurse practitioner I take pride in building relationships that are focused on patient-centered care and improving outcomes. Outcomes that I am specifically focused on are improving functional capacity and quality of life.
My care philosophy is focused on patient-centered care. It’s important to me that the patient has all the information necessary to make a mutually agreeable plan of care for all their health care needs. I believe giving patients the ability to participate in their care changes health behavior. Patients manage their individual health better. They are more aware of their symptoms, and they report these more accurately. I also believe that this allows the patient to build a trusting relationship with their nurse practitioner.
I am a Colorado native, born and raised. I grew up in Wray, Colorado. It was a great place to grow up and it’s a great place to be from. I am a parent to 3 children, 2 girls and 1 boy. We live in Windsor, Colorado. I absolutely love everything that Windsor has to offer with their schools and the small town feel.
Hiking, camping, anything outdoors, watching movies (mostly kids movies)
