Primary family medicine
Upon completion of my undergraduate degree in nursing at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, I began a rewarding career as an Emergency Room Nurse. Although I loved my ER experience and the opportunities and knowledge I gained from it, I longed for the challenge of independent, Primary Care practice. This led me back to UCCS for a graduate degree in nursing and a career as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Following several years in an outpatient internal medicine office in Colorado Springs, I am happy to have been able to bring my practice home to Woodland Park.
My husband and I are both graduates of Woodland Park High School where we first met. We live at the base of Pikes Peak at 9600ft with our 4 children and enjoy sharing with them the wildlife and many activities that this area has to offer including camping, hiking, fishing, skiing, and snowboarding.
