Connecting with my patients on a personal level allows me to provide better care for them. I find myself in Steamboat Springs for the same reasons that many of my patients are here – the draw of the outdoors, and an active lifestyle.
I originally moved to Colorado in 2007 to be a raft guide and ski patroller, and did this for several years prior to attending PA school. I practiced emergency medicine for 10 years in Denver before making the move to the mountains. Outside of clinic duty, you can find me mountain biking, skiing, crocheting, and traveling. I am also mother to two small children, and the wife of a firefighter.
