I believe that superior outcomes are achieved in rehabilitation through a combination of manual therapy techniques and specific therapeutic exercise to no only treat the acute injury, but to improve faulty movement patterns that may predispose an individual to future injury. I strive to empower my patients to leave rehabilitation with the knowledge and confidence to self manage their injury or condition with continued sport or recreation. Prior to working for UCHealth, I underwent 6 hip surgeries as a patient treatment for a variety of hip injuries/conditions. I was supported by the most amazing multidisciplinary health care team at UCHealth and am so honored to join the organization that did so much for me and my hip.
I am a Colorado native who grew up with a natural love of the mountains and all activities that go with it. When I am not in the clinic, you can find me hiking, camping, rock climbing, skiing, or in the yoga studio. I have a special interest in Women’s Sports Medicine. I am most passionate about helping women maintain a healthy and active lifestyle through pregnancy and in the post-partum period. As a result, I have subspecialized in the treatment of complex spine, pelvic and hip disorders with consideration for pelvic floor dysfunction. I am also interested in running biomechanics with the use of instrumented video analysis to assist runners in recovery from injury and to promote longevity within the sport.
