A CU Medicine provider.

I strive to be the best listener and provide excellent care for my patients. I think it is so important to explain and discuss patient’s health, especially in the often frightening hospital setting where I work. I am a generalist and enjoy treating the whole person.

I enjoy running, playing the oboe, baking and going on adventures with my partner and our dogs.

Clinical interest for patients

I only work in the hospital and not in an office practice, because I am interested in taking care of people when they are admitted to the hospital.

Research interest for patients

My research interests focus on medical education and how to better teach learners who need customized teaching.

Volunteer activities

I've volunteered in South America, rural Australia and localing with treating migrant farm workers and providing community education on HIV/AIDs and GLBTI health issues.
